Compositing in After Effects vs. Nuke

A great introduction video into ‘Nodal’ vs ‘Layer’ video compositing (in this case Nuke vs Aftereffects).

It is a little unfair to compare AE and Nuke directly. After Effects and Nuke are both awesome… one isn’t necessarily “better” than the other. But they do have different strengths. You could say Nuke is designed to make compositing fast / easy, while After Effects is designed to make animation fast / easy.

It is quite long (almost and hour) and although all good you will get a basic understanding by about half way through.
