A really good quick overview/intro to using the Black Magic video editor/colour grader app “DaVinci Resolve”… which you can get a free version of btw.
It goes quite quick so is possibly best if you have a base level of understanding in editing and/or grading from another app like Premiere Pro.

Le Festival di Film Invisible 2017
celebrates the vibrancy of international video designs. For its first edition, the festival positions itself as a unique space of discovery in the field of design (industrial design, speculative design, design fiction, critical design, furniture design) and graphic design, and as a plaform that gives voice to a new format of design thinking and design experimentation.
There’s no set topic for submissions, but the submitted work mustn’t be older than five years.
An international jury consisting of curator Alexandra Midal, designers El Ultimo Grito and also Noam Toran will evaluate all eligible submissions and select the videos to be presented in the screening that will take place during the next Designers Days in Geneva (Switzerland)
By September 10, please send your film with a Vimeo link to:
Alexandra Midal, HEAD – Genève, Space & Communication Master programme, email@example.com
Results of the selection will be e-mailed by mid-september 2017.
A great series looking different creatives work and process. This embedded one covers photographer Frank Ockenfels but all worth a look.
A great tutorial on how to make slit scan video in After Effects. Great because it is well explained and not too irritating (as most YouTube tutorials can be) but mostly because it is short too!
Thanks to VCD 400 student Rachel and Jasmine for putting me onto this.
